Customs administration of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic introduced service quality assessment system in spring of 2017 for better cooperation with public and business, and for regular feedback from business representatives and travelers. According to statistics within the period from January to July of 2018 individuals and economic agents assessed customs authorities’ activity 16 000 times.
Let’s remind that opportunity of assessing activity of customs bodies by physical persons and economic agents was carried out upon instructions of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky.
For 7 months of the current year 15 798 positive, 1 – satisfactory and 7 bad feedback (received by means of quality assessment consoles in Departments of Actual Control of Customs Houses) was recorded. Such type of inquiry as questionnaire for purposes of assessment of customs officers’ performance at customs check points and in Departments of Actual Control is less popular among participants of foreign trade. 170 respondents used it, 160 of them gave “good” assessment, 3 respondents – “satisfactory” and 7 – “bad”.
Every satisfactory and bad assessment is the reason for analysis by management and specialists of structural departments of the State Customs Committee. Management of the SCC monitors results of service quality assessment system on a weekly basis and in case of weaknesses in performance takes necessary measures to eliminate it and to improve the quality of customs services in an internationally harmonized manner.
