On 1 October the State Customs Committee of Pridnestrovie just celebrated the 28-th anniversary since the day of formation of customs authorities of the Republic.
The Pridnestrovian customs officers mark their professional holiday, like all the state, in difficult conditions associated with the negative context of the pandemic. However, this is not a reason to give up the intended goals.
This year the Customs Committee continued to implement the Electronic Customs Program. Its goal is to create the most comfortable conditions for the implementation of foreign economic activity for the economic agents of the Republic, as well as further liberalization in the field of foreign economic activity. The full-fledged electronic declaration of exported goods is successfully functioning at the moment, as well as the automated registration of declarations for goods exported from Pridnestrovie.
Since the beginning of 2020, more than 60 thousand declarations have been submitted and processed in electronic form. Up to 400 of customs declarations are released daily by specialists of the Electronic Declaration Center. 97% of documents submitted by economic agents go through the automatic registration procedure, and 95% of them are released automatically. The release time of goods is less than 1 minute.
