At the invitation of Russian colleagues delegation of the State Customs Committee of Pridnestrovie headed by Vitaly Nyagu attended the XVIII International Exhibition “The Customs Service-2017” in Moscow. The event was traditionally dedicated to Russian Customs Day celebrated on 25 of October, and its slogan was: “Customs: Simplicity and Convenience, Efficiency and Security”.
The guests and participants of the exhibition came from near and far foreign countries including: member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, China, Turkey, Slovakia, Estonia, the South-Africa Republic.
The Pridnestrovian delegation saw up-to-date trends in development of customs technologies, studied new instruments and best practices for facilitating trade and speeding up customs procedures. Representatives of the State Customs Committee of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic also took part in a plenary meeting “Customs for Business and State”. The dialogue between Russian authorities and business community was mainly dedicated to the issues of customs development strategy.
During the visit to Moscow the delegation of the State Customs Committee also met with Andrey Strukov, Deputy Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, and visited the Russian Customs Academy.
